A local hidden treasure nestled in South Edmonton’s mature Ritchie neighbourhood, ACME Meat Market is the local butcher shop you have been looking for. ACME has been located at 95th Street and 76th Avenue since 1986, but as of March 2017, we have moved across the street into Ritchie Market!
A Family-Owned Business
The rich sense of history at ACME Meat Market is being carried on by the Meyers, the only owner not in the Pheasey or Eldridge families since it was founded in 1921. As a family-owned business, ACME Meats has forever strived to provide its customers with quality products.
Since having the torch passed back in 2008, owner Corey Meyer, along with his friendly wife Amanda and his highly skilled staff, continue on the tradition, providing loyal customers with a very high standard of quality products and services. ACME continues to support local farmers and ranchers by carrying wholesome, locally raised beef, pork, free-range chicken, lamb, and more.
No Stranger to the Meat Business
Corey, a long-time employee of ACME Meats, is no stranger to the meat business, being born to skilled German-trained meat cutters. His father even owned his own, reputable butcher shop (Meyer’s Meats) in Edmonton for many years prior. Some may say it was in his blood!
